In 2007, China Cotton Textile Industry maintained a stable development despite constant appreciation of RMB, substantial increase of production cost, continual rise of raw material prices and cut of export tax rebate. However, a serious polarization emerged in the industry at the same time. Two thirds enterprises suffered slim profits and many shut down capacities. A large number of peasant workers faced layoffs. In 2008, this situation will aggravate and the industry position will be more severe. Then, how will the industry develop in 2008? Enterprises how to face challenges? How to seize business opportunities in industrial upgrading? Aiming at above-mentioned hot issues, China Cotton Textile Association will hold 2008 China Cotton Textile Forum&Analysis Conference in Suzhou, Jiangsu province in July 2008.
